Science and math continues to permeate our lives educationally, economically and socially.
The department continues to strive for improved teaching strategies and educational
opportunities that allow students to become and remain competitive, productive individuals.
Additionally, the department encourages students to seek internships in their area
of study and to become involved in the Science and Mathematics Symposium Club.
The Department, through its curricula, encourages students to develop a general ability,
which includes the following attributes: effective scientific communication, problem-solving
ability, scientific analytical capability, making scientific decisions, effective
social interaction, and aesthetic responsiveness of Science and Mathematics.
